Jonathan R. Cone, MD
Growing up in a suburb of Detroit, family medicine specialist Dr. Jonathan Cone didn’t have a lot of exposure to the practice of medicine — but after traveling to Latin America in high school, he became interested in primary care. “I came across a lot of poverty and a lot of need for medicine,” he says.

Jamie M. Sias, MD
As one of Touro’s newest OBGYN physicians, Dr. Jamie Sias brings a modern, patient-centered approach to her practice and welcomes her patients’ desires to employ alternative birthing options. “We’re moving away from seeing pregnancy as a burden and moving toward seeing it as a normal and natural part of the life cycle,” Dr. Sias explained. “I educate my patients so that they can be fully engaged in their pregnancies and births.”
Royce Dean Yount, MD
Dr. Royce Dean Yount grew up in New Orleans, attending St. Martin’s School and later earning his undergraduate degree in biology and psychology at Vanderbilt University. His mother was, and still is, a physician practicing family medicine in New Orleans, which led him naturally to attend medical school at nearby Louisiana State University. “She showed me how medicine will always present new and interesting challenges,” Dr. Yount says. He remained at LSU for his residency in internal medicine, and he completed a fellowship in interventional cardiology there in 1998.
